ok, i would like to connect my laptop to my HDTV. I was wondering if they make an extension for the red/white audio cables?
I need to make my audio cables the red and white ones a little longer so i was wondering if they make some sort of extension cord that would have one side with innys and the other with outtys to make it longer. Thanks
In an analog audio cable,i cut both ones from one ending and match them with those of a speaker cord, can i?
If in the analog cable i cut only one pair of cables red and white from one ending, get out the plastic cover and entangle with the ones of a speaker cable, will it work?If not, what " something" can i buy so i can convert the speaker cord into digital or analog mode?what i want is this i just bought a couple speakers and a wireless receiver and the wireless reciever only has analog and digital input and i dont want to buy a amplifier. im trying to match the speaker cord with the analog or digital input.if i join them could it work

i know what i want. Its a left and right white and red male audio cable with an headphone socket female not male at the other end. my lcd portable screen does not have a head phone socket so the red and white audio is the next best thing to use. i have amp driven speakers with headphone connector i don't know what the cable is called and does it exist and where to go to buy it. please help thank you

Now, how would I plug that into a input that is like an ipod's? the thing is, my computer's input won't allow that metal shielding
TV only has one Audio In, but I have two AV audio cables?
I noticed a serious problem with my current AV cable hookup. I have two audio cables, red and white.I have one video cable, yellow. In the front of my TV, I have two slots. A 'Video In', and an 'Audio In'. I'm running them out of my PS2 and into my TV. The specific problem I'm having is that I can only plug in one of the audio cables at a time, so I'm only getting the right or left part of the audio, the rest is either faded or lost unless I unplug that one and plug in the other one. I figure there has to be a cable or something I can hook up to the two and merge them into one, but when it comes to cables, I'm not the sharpest coaxial in the port.I don't have a HDMI port in my TV either, but that wouldn't help anyway. Help?Edit I called around to see if any of the local stores had any of the cables you mentioned, it turns out that Best Buy had it for 3 dollars. Does the brand of digital optical audio cables matter?
I recently bought a av sound receiver and the guy at the store told me i should buy a digital optical audio cable. He said the sound is way more clear and the best it can get. But the thing is that the prices of the cables i've seen are weird. I saw some online the other day and they only cost $4.99 but the cable that the guy told me to get was $20 dollars. So what i wanna know is that will the brand and cost of the cable really make a difference of the sound quality my av receiver will receive. And if it doesn't, does the cable make a difference at all

Xbox 360 and Optical Audio Cable. Problems?
Hey, I am trying to run my 360 to my stereo using optical audio cable. I have a pretty old Sony 50 1 Cd changer that has optical entry. I was able to use my 360 directly from 1 end to the stereo end. but, now when I try again I am not gettting sound. I have 1 end of the optical cable to my 360 directly and the other end to my stereo. I put my stereo on video since it has no AUX I changed the settings on the 360 to digital but I am still not getting audio. Like, I said I was able to get Audio before same way as it is connected now but now I cant get audio to my stereo. Is there a certain way the Xbox needs to be turned on after the Stereo etc. I know it works because it was working before. Should I turn the 360 first then the stereo??? I neeed some help . thx
